Liverpool flights cancelled ahead of Storm Éowyn
Several flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport have been cancelled as Storm Éowyn is set to batter the UK. Merseyside has been hit by both yellow and amber weather warnings for wind on Friday, January 24.
An amber weather warning is set to cover coastal areas such as Southport, Formby and Hoylake, while the rest of Merseyside is covered by a yellow weather warning.
Weather warnings are covering the whole of the UK, with red alerts issued for Northern Ireland as well as central and southwestern areas of Scotland.
