Jurgen Klopp has been pictured ahead of his managerial return this weekend back in Germany. The former Liverpool boss is just three months out of a job after his emotional Anfield exit but is preparing for a brief foray into coaching again.

On Saturday, Klopp will be part of a testimonial at the Signal Iduna park for Dortmund legends Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski. The right-sided duo were both key to Klopp's Bundesliga and Champions League success over 10 years ago now.

Now, he is back at his old stomping ground to celebrate their careers. For Klopp, it will be the first time he is back on the sidelines of a game since waving goodbye to Liverpool following a final day victory over Wolves.

In a set of images of Klopp doing some pre-game coaching as he takes the final step to prepare his team for the upcoming game, Dortmund posted on Instagram: [Happy face emoji] Back in Dortmund for the farewell game of Lukasz Piszczek and Kuba [yellow heart emoji]". It comes after a promotional video before the match included Piszczek saying, "we need a coach and I have an idea, we'll call the retired coach."

Klopp then appears and responds: "You finally have your farewell game. Oh my god. And you want to train before the game. Are you stupid?"

It's not determined which team Klopp will actually look after on the day, not that it seems to bother him. "I couldn't care less," the 57-year-old said. "I don't worry about it at all. I do it like I used to, I start thinking about it five minutes beforehand. Is the game sold out? I'd buy a ticket if I wasn't coming anyway!"

No matter which team he does get landed with, Klopp is sure to be reunited with some Dortmund greats. Current manager Nuri Sahin is one of many who will be playing, as well as former Manchester United and Arsenal attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Sporting director Sebastian Kehl will also take part, so will Marcel Schmelzer, Kevin Grosskreutz, Roman Weidenfeller, Patrick, Neven Subotic, Ebi Smolarek, Mladen Petric, and Sokratis.

Under Klopp, Blaszczykowski played 226 times, scoring 31 and assisting 48. Fellow Polish international Piszczek featured 191 times for Klopp.
