Jurgen Klopp will attempt to revamp his Liverpool team this summer at a cost of £150 million, according to reports.
According to The Sun, the German will attempt to avoid a repeat next season by sanctioning the purchases of Inaki Williams, valued at £43 million by his club Athletic Bilbao, and AS Monaco’s £40 million-rated Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Klopp could also look to stiffen up in defense, with Southampton center-back Virgil Van Dijk potentially available for £50 million alongside Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, which would take Liverpool’s spending over the £150 million mark.
Liverpool faces a potentially season-defining game against Manchester City in the English Premier League at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
