Brentford will reportedly demand £50million for Bryan Mbeumo if Liverpool come in for him this summer.

The Reds have been linked with the Cameroon star after the player outlined his wish to play at the highest level within the game. Reports in France - where Mbeumo was given his break in senior football - claim Liverpool are considering him as a transfer option.

“I want to play in the biggest competitions, in the best clubs,” the player told L’Equipe this week. “It’s still enticing to see some big teams interested in me. We'll see."

Brentford could face a tricky summer with Ivan Toney tipped to exit, while a Mbeumo departure would significantly deplete the Bees’ frontline. A report from HITC claims that Brentford are hoping to get £50m for the winger, who is yet to hit double figures for goals in his top-flight career.

Liverpool are being tipped to start the search for a potential successor for Mohamed Salah, who turns 32 this summer and enters the final year of his contract. Mbeumo predominantly plays on the right wing and can also play as a central striker.

Meanwhile, Alisson Becker is said to be open to listening to offers this summer, with the preference to stay in Europe. However, the goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Saudi and journalist Rudy Galetti says Alisson would still be interested to hear what they table.

It is thought that only a huge offer would tempt him to consider switching continents. The shot-stopper, 31, still has three years left on his deal at Anfield.

Liverpool look set for a busy summer in the goalkeeper department with Caoimhin Kelleher being linked with an exit and Adrian out of contract.
