A helter-skelter ride has landed in the city centre for Christmas. The classic fun-fair attraction is set up in Liverpool ONE's Chavasse Park and surrounded by entertainment stalls for all ages to enjoy.

The helter-skelter is painted with red and white horizontal stripes. Warm bulbs wrap around the top of the structure's walkway and continue down the length of the spiral slide to the bottom.

The new arrival is a part of Liverpool ONE's new range of festive children's attractions, with a vintage carousel, prize grabs, and traditional food stalls already in place. The area is also home to the complex's neon Christmas tree which houses the drink venue Bar Hütte directly at its base.

Elsewhere, Liverpool ONE is hosting weekly takeovers with giant illuminated penguins appearing this Thursday, November 28. The Christmas trail will also give children and families the chance to enjoy a magical tour of Liverpool ONE, with an interactive map and fun festive challenges.

The visitors’ competition is back, giving away £4,000 worth of prizes from Liverpool ONE brands. The Advent Calendar Giveaway runs over 12 days from Sunday, December 1, until Thursday, December 12.

Visitors can also expect in-store activations, entertainers, and flash mobs with Santa and his elves, while a Golden Ticket competition will give one lucky winner the chance to win £500 to spend on Christmas shopping at Liverpool ONE.
