Liverpool's summer transfer plans are likely to ramp up over the next few weeks.

Saturday marks the first day that Arne Slot will assume the role of head coach of the Reds. Jurgen Klopp has now officially left the club following nearly nine years as manager, with Slot now tasked with helping Liverpool challenge for major honours next season.

The Reds will be in the revamped Champions League and will also hope to be in the conversation for the Premier League title. Before that, though, Liverpool will likely have a busy summer transfer window.

The last few weeks have seen Liverpool linked with several potential new signings. The last 24 hours have resulted in plenty of rumours about possible deals that the Reds could complete before the window closes.

Reports are claiming that Liverpool are interested in signing West Ham star Mohammed Kudus. According to Football Transfers, Kudus has been identified by the Reds as a possible target this summer as they consider strengthening their forward options.

It has been claimed that Kudus is viewed by Liverpool as a potential long-term successor to Mohamed Salah on the right wing. Reports in recent weeks have suggested that Kudus may have an £85 million release clause in his contract with the Hammers, having only signed from Ajax last summer in a £38 million deal.

Elsewhere, according to Mexico-based news outlet TV Azteca, Liverpool are showing an interest in signing Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez. The report claims that the Reds are joined by Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and Leeds United in admiring the striker.

Gimenez has spent the last two seasons at Feyenoord after arriving from Cruz Azul in 2022, where he was signed by incoming Liverpool head coach Slot. The striker has gone on to score 49 goals with 11 assists in 86 appearances for the Eredivisie club.
