Liverpool player ratings as Luis Diaz outstanding and three others excellent against Bournemouth
Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a hard-earned home victory over Bournemouth. A brace from Luis Diaz and a wonder strike by Darwin Nunez - all in the first half - secured the Reds a 3-0 triumph.
The result continued the momentum of the midweek Champions League win at AC Milan and was the perfect response to last weekend's shock loss to Nottingham Forest.
The ECHO was in attendance at Anfield and here's how we rated the Liverpool players.

Caoimhin Kelleher 8
Dallied in possession on one occasion but decent stops from Semenyo and Kluivert first half. Strong claims second half and excellent save from Sinisterra and to prevent Alexander-Arnold own goal.
Trent Alexander-Arnold 7
Pretty subdued until bursting into midfield from right-back and picking out Diaz for the second. Largely defensive duties second half.
Ibrahima Konate 8
Caused Kelleher concern with one overhit pass before better long ball sent Diaz away for opener. Defended stoutly second half. Booked.
Virgil van Dijk 7
Evanilson obviously didn’t get the memo and targeted the Dutchman early on, but the Liverpool skipper soon wrested control.
Andy Robertson 6
Was physicality tested by hefty Bournemouth forwards but held off Semenyo in one such duel. Quieter in second half.
Ryan Gravenberch 8
Another impressive showing where his ability to maintain possession under pressure was to the fore. Composure helped Liverpool see game out.
Alexis Mac Allister 7
Prompted purrs from the crowd with one pass and began to prosper in growing space. Tidy enough second half.
Mohamed Salah 7
Closely marked by Kerkez first half but able to force Kepa into two saves and technically assist for third. Got a little frustrated second half, however, but had shot cleared off line.
Dominik Szoboszlai 7
Involved in several decent moments and good engine began being rewarded increasingly before break. Subbed.
Luis Diaz 9
Had already caused Bournemouth serious problems before great composure to finish for first and then slotting second. Outstanding. Subbed.
Darwin Nunez 7
Drifted in and out first half as Liverpool fathomed the best way of bringing him into game before superb strike for third. Denied another goal by block. Subbed.
Curtis Jones (for Szoboszlai 61) 7
Kept the ball well and close to scoring.
Federico Chiesa (for Nunez 72) 6
Tested Kepa with first touch and will benefit from minutes.
Cody Gakpo (for Diaz 72) 6
A couple of flurries of activity.
