Liverpool restaurant named among 'best in the UK' for brunch
DesignMyNight has revealed the top UK brunch spots, with a Liverpool venue snatching a spot on the list. The popular website, which allows the customer to tailor their night out depending on their budget, where they want to go and what type of night they're after, shared a list of some of the 'best' brunch spots across the country.
The Florist, on Hardman Street, in Liverpool city centre, was described by the website as "a strong contender" for the "best brunch restaurant in the UK". The website continued, "Toting actual living trees, the Liverpool gem is an absolute beaut. Plus, it has something for everyone, from buttermilk fried chicken waffles and smoked trout eggs Benedict to smashed avocado on toast."

Housed in the former Royal School for the Blind, the botany-filled restaurant opened in 2018. Since then, it has become known for its decorative interior, and is often referred to as one of Liverpool's 'most Instagrammable venues'.
The restaurant and bar are not hard to miss. There is a fantastic floral display adorning the entrance to the Grade II Listed building, which continues into the restaurant, with realistic trees blossoming up to the ceiling.
The Florist wasn't the only Liverpool venue that made it to the list. UK-wide brand, Flight Club - which recently opened a new site on Liverpool’s Chavasse Park - also featured, with DesignMyNight praising its darts social offer which includes bottomless pizza paddles and bottles of prosecco.
The venue has 16 semi-private oches arranged over two floors, two bars, a ground-floor outdoor terrace, a mezzanine seating area overlooking all the action below and a first-floor balcony looking out towards Chavasse Park. DesignMyNight described the venue as having "everything you need for a good time".
