Liverpool restaurant offering free meals all day
Vietnamese restaurant Pho is offering a complimentary meal for participants of Sunday's Santa Dash. The Castle Street venue will give runners a bowl of pho completely free of charge so long as they appear in their full Santa outfit.
The annual five-kilometre trek sees thousands of people in Santa outfits running through the streets to raise money for charity. This year's dash starts at Pier Head at 9.30am before moving through the Royal Albert Dock and around the city centre.
Runners will be greeted at the Liverpool Town Hall finish line by a festive showcase with characters on stilts and 'real'' snow. Once there, runners can get a free bowl of pho at the Castle Street restaurant at their leisure.

The requirements will be eat in only, must be dressed as Santa, and no added extras unless paid for. The offer is one per person and only available from 11am onwards on Sunday, November 30.
Online entries for the Santa Dash have now closed, but they will be accepted in person at the pop-up shop in St Johns Shopping Centre until 5pm on Saturday, November 30. It is located on the lower level near the Matalan bridge and the post office.
The entry fee, £26, goes towards the essential costs of organising such an event, which include road closures, safety measures, Santa suits, medals, and entertainment. Read more on the Santa Dash 2024 here.
