Liverpool sent new Premier League title verdict after Arsenal's draw with Man City
Liverpool's final Premier League position has been predicted by a supercomputer after the weekend's results. The Reds returned to winning ways in the top flight with a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday at Anfield.
Luis Diaz scored a first-half brace for Liverpool to take his goal tally for the season up to five in the Premier League. Darwin Nunez also found the back of the net with his first goal of the campaign against the Cherries to secure the three points.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Manchester City and Arsenal shared the points in a 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium. The end of the weekend saw Liverpool finish in second place, one point behind leaders Man City, level on points with third-placed Aston Villa and one ahead of Arsenal in fourth.

The system has crunched the numbers and predicted that Liverpool will finish in third in the Premier League this season. The final prediction believes the Reds will finish with 75.4 points after all 38 games have been played.
Arsenal are predicted to finish in second, narrowly ahead of Liverpool, with 76.6 points. Man City have been tipped to win a fifth straight league title with 84.5 points in total, which would be nine more than Liverpool.
Chelsea are the team predicted to complete the top four with 67.3 points in fourth place. Manchester United (64.0) and Aston Villa (63.0) complete the top six according to the supercomputer, while Tottenham Hotspur are seventh.
At the bottom of the table, Everton are tipped to avoid relegation by finishing 17th with 38.2 points. The three teams predicted to drop down to the Championship are Leicester City (32.9), Southampton (29.2) and Ipswich Town (27.7).
