Arne Slot has made only one change for Liverpool’s Champions League game at home to Bologna this evening. Darwin Nunez returns to lead the attack after being absent from the weekend Premier League win at Wolves due to illness.

Nunez replaces Diogo Jota, who picked up an injury during the match that, while being given the all clear after scans, means he has moved to the bench.

Alisson Becker continues in goal with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson at right-back and left-back respectively. Virgil van Dijk skippers the team at centre-back alongside Ibrahima Konate.

In midfield, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister are again the double defensive pivot while Dominik Szoboszlai operates as the number 10.

And up front, joining Nunez are Mohamed Salah on the right and Luis Diaz on the left. Teenager Trey Nyoni joins midfielder Tyler Morton on the bench.
