Liverpool returned to Premier League action against Nottingham Forest at Anfield this afternoon. Arne Slot's side came into the game with a 100 percent record; however, that record is no more.

Callum Hudson-Odoi's second-half goal was enough to secure Nuno Espirito Santo's side all three points. Liverpool had the better chances, certainly during the opening 45 hours, but they could not find a way past Matz Sels.

With the game being a 3pm kick-off, the match was not available to watch on television. So, with that said, match highlights can be watched shortly after the game. The highlights will be posted on the Premier League's YouTube channel, 15-30 minutes after full-time.

Speaking after the game, Forest goalscorer Callum Hudson-Odoi said: "We knew as subs we would come on at a certain point, we had fresh legs to run in behind and cause them problems. The manager told us to make an impact and we are buzzing with the win.

"I saw the space in the far corner and as soon as I hit it I knew there was a good chance of it going in. We started well and we ended well.

"It is a massive win, the atmosphere is crazy. We made sure we had the right mentality from the beginning. 55 years and now it's done but we can't rely on this."
