Llandudno seafront hotel snapped up by hospitality group
A seafront hotel in Llandudno has been snapped up by a UK hospitality group. Bespoke Hotels, a collection of over 70 independent hotels across the UK, has announced the acquisition of four properties from the Coast & Country Hotel Collection.
These include Marine Hotel in Llandudno. Bespoke was already managing the property which was placed on the market by the owner for a guide price of £5m.
Now Bespoke Hotels has confirmed it has bought the site. The Marine Hotel has 123 bedrooms and sits on corner position at the junction of The Parade and Vaughan Street. It includes a main restaurant and lounge bar, an entertainment room, ballroom, and an indoor swimming pool.

Haydn Fentum, Chairman of Bespoke Hotels, said: “I'm delighted to announce the acquisition of these four regional hotels, which represent a significant step forward in our growth strategy. These properties align perfectly with our vision of offering exceptional hospitality experiences across the UK. We are confident that our management and operations expertise will enhance the value of these assets and provide our guests with even more choices."
This acquisition follows the recent addition of several other management contracts for the group, including The Green House Hotel in Bournemouth and Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel & Spa in Usk. The other hotels bought by the company are the Caledonian Hotel in Fort William, the Great Western Hotel in Oban and The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel.
Jeremy Jones, Director at Christie & Co, who handled the process said: “The sale of these four hotels to Bespoke and their investor partners is further evidence of the real momentum in the regional UK hotels market.”
