Lloyds and Halifax bank closures in Yorkshire - full list and dates they will shut

Bank branches have been closing across the country for a number of years now, and more are set to close across 2024 and 2025.

Halifax and Lloyds have announced that a total of 247 bank branches belonging to them will be closing across the UK, and lots have already shut their doors to the public this year. As a result, many people have been left having to travel miles to their nearest branch.

As an alternative, many have turned to banking hubs or the Post Office to deposit and withdraw cash, particularly if they are older or less comfortable with online banking and cards.
