Locals amazed when bright-yellow frogs appear on Indian wetland

This is the amazing moment a large group of yellow frogs was seen on wet grassland in India.

The rare yellow Indian bullfrogs were scattered across the marshy area that had just been flooded by rain in Narsighpur, Madhya Pradesh.

This frog species are usually green but the males turn to lemony yellow colour to attract females during the mating season.

They are normally found in Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Nepal.

Malde Ahir, who lives near the field, said he was amazed when he saw the group of frogs jumping around.

He said: "That was my first time to see yellow frogs in our area so we went and took pictures of them."
