A group calling themselves the Tin Shui Wai Connection set up a “health screening center” for arrivals to Tin Shui Wai, Hong Kong, from Shenzhen Bay Port on Tuesday, February 4.
The group checked the temperature of bus passengers after their arrival to Tin Shui Wai station. According to Stand News, the group said suspected coronavirus cases would be reported to local police.
Wu Jianwei, a local councilor, told inmediahk that he hoped the action would “wake up the community” to implement “self-help” to combat what he described as deficiencies in the Hong Kong government’s approach to dealing with the coronavirus outbreak. Credit: Yu Miying via Storyful
