Locals urged to check sheds for missing Scots pensioner as cops issue appeal
Police have urged residents to check outbuildings and sheds for a man who went missing on Sunday, September 8.
Pensioner David Simpson was last spotted in the St Leonard Street area of Lanark at around 11.30am on Sunday, 8 September.
The 77-year-old is described as 5ft 8 with short white/grey hair and is of stocky build. It is unknown what he was wearing. David is known to travel by bus within the Lanarkshire area.

Inspector Steven Bryson, East Kilbride Police Station, said: “David may have sought shelter in sheds or outbuildings and we are asking residents of Lanark to please check these areas.
“Concern is growing for David’s welfare and we have a dedicated team of officers trying to trace him.
“If you think you’ve seen him or have any information on his whereabouts, please get in touch with us.”
