Logan Airport Evacuated Due to Suspicious Package

A suspicious item prompted evacuations at Boston Logan International Airport’s Terminal A on Sunday, April 17.

The Massachusetts State Police reopened the terminal after clearing a suspicious item inside a bag, Boston 25 reported.

“The condition of the console caused abnormalities in the image produced when it was X-rayed, prompting the screeners’ concern,” said a spokesperson with Massachusetts State Police as quoted by Boston 25 News.

The all-clear was given at 5pm and passengers were allowed to return to the terminal. Credit: Deepak Manchanda via Storyful
