London Food Month Signature Dishes: MEATliquor

There is no doubt that MEATliquor is a cult destination that has great food and vibe balanced perfectly.

It’s a place where visitors are welcomed by graffiti décor, booming music and a sense of delightful irreverence.

The hip joint serves US-inspired burgers, chicken wings, beers, cocktails, milkshakes, floats and they are also one of the few places in London that serve root beer.

Its signature burger called Dead Hippie has been in the original menu since MEATliquor started in 2011 and it also tops Deliveroo's most ordered item.

It all started with co-founder Yiannis Papoutsis, a former ballet production technician, and his street food van. When he’s not on tour, he would get his van out in a Peckham car park and sell burgers.

When business became insatiably popular, Yiannis and business partner Scott Collins opened MEATliquor over at Marylebone’s Welbeck Street and now it has 11 branches with the 12th one opening over at Kings Cross this year.
