Our capital will be taken over on Sunday by 10,000 runners in the London Landmarks Half Marathon.

The event, owned by baby charity Tommy's, is the first of its kind and four years in the making since originally being devised.

Racing from Pall Mall to Downing Street along a route designed to take in as many attractions as possible, 11 celebrities will also be taking part in a relay race.

What is the London Landmarks Half Marathon?

Originally devised in 2014, the London Landmarks Half Marathon is the first half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster.

When is the London Landmarks Half Marathon?

The inaugural race takes place on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

How to watch the race LIVE online

Evening Standard is offering an exclusive live broadcast of the race from Standard Sport's Facebook page, starting at 9.15am until around 12.45pm with Radzi Chinyanganya on presenting and interview duties and commentator Rob Walker taking you through all the action.

The will be seven cameras set up across the route, plus two bikes to pick up shots among the runners.

What is the race start time?

Runners start in waves, with Wave 1 setting off at 9.30am and the final wave at 10.10am. Full details below.

What is the route?

Runners will start at Pall Mall and take in 12 landmarks over the 13.1-mile route before finishing by Downing Street, going from east to west and across the Thames twice.

How long is the route?

A half marathon is, to be precise, 13.1094 miles or 21.097494 kilometres.

What landmarks will runners pass along the way?

Runners will start at Pall Mall, heading past Nelson's Column inside the first mile before taking in the Royal Courts of Justice and across the Thames to the London Eye.

They will head back over the Golden Jubilee bridges and past Somerset House and St. Paul's Cathedral before snaking back towards Holborn before approaching the City of London.

A zig-zag route around the Bank of England and past Monument will give runners a view of the Cheese Grater and The Gerkin before hitting the most easterly point outside the Tower of London at mile 10.

The final three miles takes runners along the Thames before hitting Big Ben and finishing by Downing Street.

Which celebrities are taking part?

Starting with the first wave at 9.30am, 11 celebrities will take part in a relay race, starting with Amanda Holden and finished by Davina McCall.

The other celebrities, in order of appearance, are: Jenni Falconer, Henry Firth, Ian Theasby, Cherry Healey, Fleur DeForce, Nik Speakman, Eva Speakman, Ceallach Spellman, Ant Middleton, Davina McCall.
