London Overground: Morning commuters faced travel mayhem for the second day

Commuters faced a second morning of rush hour chaos after a faulty train meant part of a major London Overground line was forced to close.

There was no service between Surrey Quays and New Cross Gate on the line due to a broken down train at Dalston Junction on Friday.

The fault caused travel misery for commuters who were forced to seek other routes to get to work amid the mayhem.

It comes after a London Overground commuters also experienced travel misery yesterday, when services were halted after a brake part from one of the trains was found on the tracks.
