London police say man arrested in grounds of parliament for "trespassing"

LONDON (Reuters) - London police said a man detained by officers using a stun gun in the grounds of the British parliament on Tuesday was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at a protected site.

"Enquiries into the circumstances continue," police said in a statement.

The House of Commons said on Twitter that the incident was now over and was being handled by the police.
