London Protesters Form Human Chain in Support of Women's Rights in Iran
Protesters in support of women’s rights in Iran formed a human chain down Whitehall in central London on Saturday, October 29.
Recorded footage shows the chain near Trafalgar Square.
Local media reported that there had been protests in central London on Saturday and Sunday.
One protester, Maryam Namazie, told the Evening Standard that “a few thousand people” had attended the rally on Saturday, where a human chain was formed.
Protests have been sparked internationally by the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in the custody of Iranian security forces in September. Credit: Anonymous via Storyful
