The Good Food Guide has just announced the winners of its annual awards. Celebrating the very best of the British dining scene, the restaurant review bible honours each year independent restaurants from across the country.

The 2025 edition saw Merlin Labron-Johnson's Osip in Somerset crowned with the coveted title of Restaurant of the Year, while Manchester newcomer Skof took the prize for Best New Restaurant. But London did not leave empty-handed.

Several establishments of the capital made the cut, including The Devonshire for Best Value Set Menu for serving three-courses for £29. Here are all the London sites that were awarded at the The Good Food Guide Awards 2025.

The Devonshire

As part of the new 2025 awards, The Devonshire took the gong for Best Value Set Menu. Named 'bargain of the year', the classic London pub serves homemade bar food from its in-house butcher and bakery.

Highlights include Scottish beef, dry-aged and butchered on site, langoustines from Oban, and hand-dived scallops from Devon. The establishment also boasts an extensive wine and drinks list, with a Guinness that some have described as the 'best in England'.

The Devonshire is located at 17 Denman St, London W1D 7HW

The Dover

The Dover, a New York-style Italian bar and restaurant, was voted Most Beautiful Restaurant. Founded by former Soho House chief Martin Kuczmarski, it is said to be inspired by actress Sophia Loren in the 1970s.

So it's no surprise that the venue has been widely praised online, including on TripAdvisor. "From the moment you walk in you know you are somewhere special," wrote one user.

The Social Company

Jason Atherton, and his wife Irha, won the Russell Norman Award for Restaurateur of the Year. The Michelin-starred chef opened his flagship Pollen Street Social back in 2011 in Mayfair.

Since then, Jason's 'The Social Company' has grown into a globally renowned restaurant group. It includes City Social, Little Social, Berners Tavern and Three Darlings, all of which located in London.
