Three men stabbed within minutes of each other in separate London incidents

Two separate stabbing incidents have taken place within minutes of each other in London.

Police were called at about 2.30pm on Friday to reports of a stabbing at Highbury Grove in Islington, north London.

The Met said at the scene two males, aged 20 and 21, were found suffering from stab injuries.

Around an hour later British Transport Police were called at 3.49pm to Clapham South tube station following reports of a stabbing.

The victim has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Metropolitan Police tweeted: “Officers on scene at #HighburyGrove #Islington where two males, aged 20s, stabbed. Injuries not life threatening. No arrests.

“Highbury Grove Road will reopen shortly. Call 101 with info quoting 4183/7FEB, #crimestoppers.org.”

British Transport Police tweeted: “The station is currently closed while we carry out enquiries. Anyone with info can text 61016 and quote ref 349 of 07/02/20.”
