London Tube strike: Commuters face chaos as union action goes ahead

London commuters returning after the Platinum Jubilee weekend are facing chaos on Monday as a major Tube strike goes ahead.The RMT union has called up to 4,000 station staff out on strike affecting stations across the city for 24 hours from one minute past midnight.Shortly after 6am on Monday the Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Piccadilly, Victoria and Waterloo & City lines were closed with the Central, Jubilee and Northern running a special service and the DLR part suspended.
