Londoners 'Clap for Our Carers' in Recognition of NHS Workers

London residents took to windows, balconies, and front doors to applaud the work of National Health Service (NHS) staff on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic on Thursday, April 2.

Plans for a nationwide ‘Clap for Our Carers’ tribute at 8 pm circulated on social media after similar tributes were held the previous week.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan encouraged Londoners to use the hashtag #ClapForOurCarers when sharing videos of the tribute to “our brilliant frontline workers and NHS staff.”
