Long Queues in Montreal as French Expats Head to Polls

French expats in Montreal, Canada waited for hours to cast their vote in France’s presidential election with long queues forming around the block.

This video shows the scene near a polling station in Outremont on Saturday, April 22.

Hundreds of people turned out to vote, with some waiting for hours, according to local media. The French embassy in Montreal said more than 57,000 people had registered to vote in the city, more than that in the 2012 election, Global News reported.
