How much do the Strictly celebrities get paid?

While the BBC hasn't released an official figure, it's been reported that each contestant starts on a flat rate of £25,000.

This amount increases depending on how far the celebrities progress in the competition.

According to The Metro, if they survive the first few weeks, their pay rises to £40,000.

If they make it to the quarter finals, their earnings increase to £60,000, and then to £75,000 if they reach the final.

The champion of the show will be taking home the Glitterball Trophy and a hefty £100,000 prize.

What's the pay for the professional dancers?

It's understood that the pros earn a base salary ranging from £35,000 to £50,000, but they have opportunities to increase this amount.

Participating in the professionals tour can give their earnings a nice lift.

When she first joined the panel in 2017, head judge Shirley was on a £180,000 salary, but according to the Sun, she now takes home £500,000 per series.
