Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are now settled in the quaint home they call 'Pickle Cottage', but the couple lived in a more humble abode before moving.

Stacey, 33, bought her previous house in Chelmsford for £1m in 2018. She met Joe during a stint on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2010, but they didn't start dating until 2016.

The pad in Chelmsford, Essex, underwent many transformations in the several years they lived there, with Stacey often sharing her home improvement hacks with her millions of Instagram followers clamouring to copy her style.

Projects included a kitchen conversion, while Stacey also installed a completely pink utility room and landscaped the garden to include a gorgeous fire pit.

These were among the first of the home improvement hacks she's now so famous for.

Stacey shared the home with now husband Joe, their son Rex, and her two children Zachary, 12, and Leighton, eight.

Stacey - who is also mum to daughters Rose, one, and baby Belle - took to Instagram in October 2018 to reveal she had first moved in with Joe. The couple posed with moving boxes as they got settled in.

Pickle Cottage, where the family now reside, is a sprawling property set in 2.5 acres of Essex countryside. The family moved in in 2022 and have since transformed the space.

Stacey and Joe even tied the knot at Pickle Cottage in August last year. Joe popped the question on Christmas Eve in 2020 with the wedding set to take place in 2021, but plans were put on hold due to the pandemic.

Leigh McConnon from Buyers Advocates, added: "It is never advisable to simply jump into the first property that looks appealing.

"There can be issues hidden deep and that’s why you should work with a buyers agent to help you avoid common property issues."
