Looking back at Club Noir and Glasgow's biggest ever Halloween party
Glasgow used to host the biggest Halloween party in the country, with Club Noir attracting thousands of clubbers dressed to impress.
The burlesque club started in 2003 and ran until 2017, with the Halloween event always the most popular and selling out well in advance. It even attracted Hollywood stars like Channing Tatum, Outlander's Sam Heughan and Jenna Dewan.
Starting as a club night at The Cathouse, the night grew in popularity to be on several times a year at Glasgow's O2 Academy with the Halloween event a highlight. Clubbers were not allowed to wear trainers, jeans or casual clothing but were expected to make an effort with some going all out to impress.

Organiser Tina Warren brought Club Noir to Glasgow after going to a burlesque night in London and thinking she could do it better.
The event combined DJ sets with live performances though out the night, combining striptease with live music, magic acts and comedy. Starting out at the Cathouse nightclub, the event was also held at The Classic Grand in Jamaica Street and finally The O2 Academy.
Club Noir joined forces with Scottish Opera for a joint show combining orchestra music with striptease and put on acts at T in the Park for several years.
It finished in 2017 and Tina says there are sadly no plans to bring Club Noir back from the dead.
She said: "Sadly there are no plans to bring back Club Noir. But I know it is a big loss to people."
But if you are in the mood for a dose of raunchy Saturday night nostalgia then here's a look back at 13 incredible memories from Club Noir, first published when as the club approached its final hurrah.
