It wouldn't be an episode of Loose Women if two of the panellists didn't have a barney about something, and today (November 8) it was about waxing your children.

The debate started after Nadia Sawalha posted a video on social media the other day that showed her waxing her 11-year-old daughter's top lip.

Carol McGiffin disagreed with the practice, stating that 11 years old was too early to start 'altering' someone's appearance.

Nadia hit back, saying that she didn't want her child to feel self-conscious about her looks and that society unfairly judges women for having body hair.

Eventually, Nadia said that "Oops, the producers are in our ear shouting, 'no more, no more'. I think it's getting a bit too heated", and they moved onto something else.

Today's episode also saw the panellists disagree on whether Emma Thompson wearing trainers to Buckingham Palace to receive her damehood was 'disrespectful to the establishment'.

The X Factor's James Arthur also popped by to once again talk about his anxiety, and the dark place he was in before when he did and said some unsavoury things.

Also, Downton Abbey star Phyllis Logan appeared on the show and revealed that a fan favourite character won't be making an appearance in the long-awaited film that is due out next year.

Loose Women airs every weekday at 12.30pm on ITV.
