Loose Women's Denise Welch on 'mission' to get major US star on ITV show
Denise Welch has made it her mission to get a big star from America on Loose Women, with her and several colleagues aiming to have Bravo icon Andy Cohen on the panel as a guest.
This year sees the ITV daytime discussion programme turn 25, with Geordie actress Denise serving on the panel for many of them. As well as being known for being a Loose Women star, Denise is also a well known devotee of US television series like the Real Housewives, Below Deck and Vanderpump Rules.
The man responsible for many of Denise's favourite shows, as well as hosting the often very heated reunion episodes and his own series Watch What Happens Live, is Andy Cohen. And now, Denise, together with Loose Women co-stars like Christine Lampard and Katie Piper are aiming to get Andy to be on the show with them.

Sharing a clip of Andy interviewing Oscar winner Cate Blanchett on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live on her Instagram story on Wednesday, with her tagging her colleagues in and revealing that they were desperate for him to make an appearance by the end of the year.
As she tries to get Andy Cohen to join her on Loose Women, fans of Denise's are trying to encourage Bravo to let her sit alongside Andy as a guest on Watch What Happens Live, after she got a lot of people talking with her appearance on Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay's podcast earlier this year, during which she shot down reports of a 'feud' between her and Loose Women co-star Stacey Solomon.
Addressing the rumours, Denise said: "We had a discussion on a discussion show, where you're supposed to discuss things and maybe disagree. We disagreed on something, it was about young people and work ethic and since Covid, have Gen-Z become a bit more lazy and entitled, it was one of those kind of Loose Women topics."
Hitting back at any talk of bad blood, the ex Coronation Street star, who read comments that Stacey had 'wiped the floor' with her, then added: "We're encouraged to disagree about things, it's a talk show."
