Loose Women's Jane Moore makes candid on-air health confession - leaving panel squirming
Loose Women's Jane Moore shared a surprising health revelation on the popular ITV show as she disclosed her ongoing battle with a fungal toe infection.
As part of their latest discussion, Kaye Adams probed her co-hosts, including Olivia Attwood, Myleene Klass and Jane Moore, about their foot-care habits. Highlighting the importance of foot health as an indicator of overall well-being, the panel members courageously aired photos of their feet to assess their condition.
Drawing an amusing comparison, Jane acknowledged that her feet resembled those of Gollum from Lord of the Rings for the greater part of any year and admitted negligence towards her toes. She then revealed the presence of a fungus on one of her toes and a bunion.
Upon examining the image presented by Jane, Kaye read out a podiatrist's assessment of her feet, commenting: "They haven't mentioned your bunion- because you've covered it up! But the fourth toe seems to have a corn."
Jane humorously conceded to having a plethora of foot issues and expressed gratitude for nail polish concealing her affected toe: "There's nothing I haven't got! Also, that left nail, thank God it;s got polish on it cos it's fungal!", reports the Mirror.
The studio reacted with visible discomfort when Jane added: "I can't get rid of it! I've tried everything."
This personal account comes in the wake of devastating news regarding Loose Women colleague Gloria Hunniford, whose husband Stephen Way died at 85 years old. The grieving Gloria, 84, paid tribute to him on social media: "Stephen was a gentleman and a giant of a man, who will leave the most enormous void not only in my life, but our entire family."
"He was an incredibly kind, generous, and caring man, with a delightfully quirky sense of humour, which remained till the end. We had a tremendously happy 25-year marriage and did so many beautiful and exciting things together that I will always cherish."
Gloria paid tribute to Stephen's role in their family, saying: "He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather," and expressed her profound sorrow: "It's a great shock and words cannot express my sadness at this time. A bright shining light has dimmed, and he shall be missed at every turn," she concluded.
