Loose Women's Ruth Langsford to 'leave' ITV show for surprise I'm A Celebrity role
She was absent from the show earlier this year after her split from Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will soon take a break from Loose Women, to play a role in the new series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
At the start of this week, after being sworn to secrecy, Ruth was finally able to discuss that fact that two of her Loose Women co-star, GK Barry and Jane Moore had been confirmed to be on the I'm A Celebrity 2024 line-up, with GK closing in on early favourite to win, Danny Jones in the odds, while journalist Jane is the big tip to leave the jungle first.
Giving her take on things, Ruth said she was worried about GK's 'phobias' and how she'll tackle them on I'm A Celebrity, while, speaking about Jane, she said she hoped viewers would get to see how kind Jane, known for being rather outspoken, actually is. And Ruth will get another chance to give her opinions on Jane, GK and all the other stars taking part in the new series, as she has been signed up to be a guest on new spin-off show, I'm A Celebrity - Unpacked.

Revealing Ruth was ready to jet off to Australia, a source told The Sun: ‘It’s been a tough year for Ruth and she’s been putting her best foot forward, she’s thrilled to have been asked to appear on this the spin off show and fly to Australia ahead of Christmas.
"She’s rooting for Jane and can’t wait to give her opinion on how she is getting on. The production team are particularly excited they have landed Ruth to join them as they think she’ll be amazing and give the new format a boost."
