Ruth has appeared alongside Jane Moore on the ITV chat show for many years and has also worked alongside campmate GK Barry on the show. Jane took on BushTucker trial 'Fright at the End of the Tunnel' with Love Island star Maura Higgins in last night's challenge.
The 62-year-old came under fire from fans during the episode. The trial saw the contestants try to each navigate a tunnel with one above ground and the other below ground. Maura was distraught during the trial and ended up in tears after she faced her fear of spiders. Jane swam through the water tunnels but refused to go in the part of the tunnel that was completely underwater.
Hosts Ant and Dec praised the campmates as they won six stars for the camp. When they got back to the camp, Jane revealed how much she enjoyed the trial However, viewers following the show on social media platform X were frustrated as they insisted Maura had confronted her fears more than the Loose Women panellist in the challenge.
Annoyed fans on X, formerly known as Twitter said: "Nooo I’m so annoyed Jane skipped past so many without even bothering why has she gone back acting like she had it hard." Another commented: "I know jane is not dishing out advice to Maura when she skipped 50% of the trial."
