Shedding weight can be a complex process and it often takes time to figure out the most effective diet plan for you.

However, one woman who managed to lose three stone in just three months has shared her daily food intake that contributed to her impressive weight loss.

Her diet isn't overly restrictive, offering some flexibility and a variety of tasty meals. While results will vary for each individual, TikTok user Slimming Sazzle was certainly pleased with her own progress when she shared her journey on the platform.

Contrary to popular belief, eliminating your favourite foods isn't necessarily the solution to weight loss; balance is key. As demonstrated by @sazzle2022 in her post, there's ample room for indulging in your favourite treats as long as you consume them mindfully.

Sazzle explained that she usually enjoys a hearty breakfast, but on this particular day, she didn't have time for a morning meal. This meant she had to make up for it with a "big lunch" consisting of bolognese with tagliatelle, accompanied by a small salad of rocket, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar.

She added: "Then for dinner I made an all-day breakfast. I put one thin sausage in, some scrambled egg which I did in the microwave. I left it under scrambled because it will cook more in the air fryer." Mushrooms and homemade hash browns were also included, along with a spoonful of baked beans.

Fitness enthusiast Sazzle has revealed her top tip for those who love to nibble throughout the day, suggesting a balanced grazing plate with grapes, strawberries, a 30g portion of cheese, and a packet of Moorish Munch from Marks & Spencer.

The NHS recommends that individuals aiming for weight loss should focus on reducing their intake of sugary and fatty foods as part of their strategy and maintain an active lifestyle with at least 150 minutes of exercise each week.

They further advise: "There are lots of ways you can lose weight, from making small changes to what you eat and drink to finding more support."

They emphasise the benefits, adding: "If you're overweight, losing weight will give you more energy and help to reduce the risk of obesity, heart disease and type 2 diabetes."
