Louis Rees-Zammit spotted with famous swimsuit model and TikTok star amid dating rumours

Louis Rees-Zammit has been spotted with an American swimwear model and TikTok star, sparking rumours they are dating.

The former Wales wing moved to the United States permanently last month after signing a three-year deal with NFL side Kansas City Chiefs - and has wasted no time in making friends on the other side of the Atlantic. Earlier this week the 23-year-old was photographed at Worlds of Fun amusement park in Kansas City, alongside Sports Illustrated model Xandra Pohl, also 23.

The pair were seen screaming side-by-side as they braved one of the park’s rollercoasters, while they shared a laugh together as the ride came to an end. They also explored Kansas City together earlier in the week, posing with their arms round each other as they were photographed during a sightseeing tour of the city.

Pohl is a model, content creator and professional DJ from Cincinnati. Through sharing vlogs and ‘get ready with me’ videos, she has built huge online following, amassing more than 1.5 million combined followers on TikTok and Instagram.

Having taught herself how to DJ in high school, she has performed in high-profile venues across America and even in Ibiza, while she is due to play at the famous Lollapalooza festival in Chicago later this summer.

Last month, Pohl was named as a Sports Illustrated rookie for their Class of 2024, alongside Brittany Mahomes, the wife of NFL superstar and Rees-Zammit’s new team-mate, Patrick Mahomes. She made her debut in the magazine’s 60th anniversary this month, posing on a beach in a red bikini, with those in the industry comparing her to British model Kate Upton.

Aside from her links to Mahomes, the 23-year-old also has somewhat of a sporting background, having played football while at school in Cincinnati and won a state championship in 2019.

Her exact relationship status with Rees-Zammit is unclear but their two public appearances together have sparked rumours among Chiefs fans that they are dating. If so, it comes less than two months after the former Gloucester Rugby man split with his YouTuber girlfriend Saffron Barker.

Rees-Zammit and Barker dated for four months after they attended a film premiere together following last year's World Cup, with the social media influencer even getting the Welshman's initials tattooed on her arm. But after he quit rugby to join the NFL's International Player Pathway programme (IPP), the pair broke up with Barker issuing a public statement.

"I wanted to address some of the questions regarding my relationship," the statement read. "Whilst I won’t be going into any detail, I am no longer in a relationship. I am fully focused on my wellbeing, wonderful family and career.

"I want to thank all of the incredible people who have sent me messages of love and strength over the past few weeks. I have read every single one and I can’t tell you how much it has meant to me. It feels so special to have your support and strength, so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart."
