Louis Tomlinson 'pulls out of Comic Relief performance' following the death of his sister

Louis Tomlinson has reportedly cancelled his appearance on Comic Relief following the death of his sister.

Félicité Tomlinson sadly passed away following a suspected heart attack on Wednesday 15 March.

Tomlinson, whose mum Johannah died from leukaemia in 2016, is said to be “devastated and distraught” by his 18 year old sister’s sudden death, according to The Sun.

A statement from the London Ambulance Service explained: “We were called at 12.51pm. We sent two ambulance crews, a single responder in a car and an advanced paramedic to the scene.

“Sadly, despite efforts of our medics, a person died.”

A source close to the family commented: “Félicité was an absolutely adored young woman who was loved by Louis and her whole family. She had so many friends and was such a positive happy person. It’s a massive loss to the world. She was a loveable, caring, bright, passionate, popular and beautiful young lady.”

In the aftermath of the tragic news, Tomlinson has reportedly pulled out of his performance during the televised fundraiser for Comic Relief.

The former One Direction singer was due to perform his new single.

Tomlinson’s famous friends have also paid tribute with James Corden tweeting: “Such incredibly sad news today. You’re not on your own in this @Louis_Tomlinson So many people are pulling for you and your family right now x.”

Olly Murs also took to the social networking site to post: “Absolutely heartbreaking hearing the news of Louis sister Félicité sending my love to him & all his family right now! Awful news.”
