Louis Tomlinson, Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field are reportedly set to join the X Factor 2018 panel.

Simon Cowell is expected to officially announce this year's all-new judging panel on Tuesday, just one day before auditions kick off.

The new judges will come together for the first time after weeks of speculation at a press conference.

According to the Mail, Sharon Osborne will reportedly step in when Williams has to step away for touring commitments.

Field fuelled speculation that she will be appearing on the panel alongside her husband after she refused to deny rumours earlier this week.

When asked on Loose Women about it on Monday, she said: 'It's very rare that I am speechless but I have no comment.”

Angels singer Williams also reportedly told how “nothing has been signed” but he would “love to do it.”

The Mirror reported that One Direction superstar Tomlinson had been signed in a bid to shake up the panel.

An insider told the publication: “He’s a close friend of the show and would make a brilliant judge.

Simon mentored One Direction and signed them to Syco Records, Now he’s looking after Louis’ solo career – which is going really well.

“Louis is very much a part of the X Factor family. Simon hopes the deal will be done in the next few days.”
