Louis Vuitton has released a capsule collection in collaboration with Riot Games video game League of Legends.

The collection follows the special Prestige skins which the French fashion house's artistic director of women's creations, Nicolas Ghesquière, created for one of the stars of the online game, Qiyana.

Ghesquière has also designed a skin for Senna, another character in the game, which will be revealed in January 2020.

The designer first teased the collaboration in October, when he posted an image of Qiyana in a limited-edition Louis Vuitton "skin" on his Instagram.

Riot Games has referred to the partnership as the "first-ever collaboration between a global eSport and a luxury fashion house."

The collection is made up of clothing, like t-shirts, hoodies and a biker jacket, as well as accessories such as keyrings and bag charms.

This isn’t the first time Ghesquière has intersected with the online-gaming world—he enlisted Final Fantasy’s Lightning to star in Louis Vuitton ads in 2016

Launched in 2009, online multiplayer game League Of Legend today ranks top among the most played games globally, with eight million people playing the game each day.

The Louis Vuitton x League of Legends capsule collection is available for pre-orders on Louisvuitton.com now and prices range from $10 (£8) to $5,650 (£4, 288).
