Louise Redknapp posts cryptic Instagram quote as ex-husband Jamie ‘moves on’ with Julia Restoin Roitfeld: ‘It’s okay if you fall down’

Louise Redknapp has shared a cryptic post on Instagram in the wake of her divorce from husband Jamie, saying that it’s “okay if you fall down”.

The pop star finalised her divorced from the former footballer in December last year after 19 years together, claiming that she had “lost herself” in their marriage.

While the singer is in the process of re-launching her pop career, her ex-husband has reportedly started dating model Julia Restoin Roitfled.

Hinting at a difficult few months, Rednapp shared the post, which read: “It's OK if you fall down and lose your spark. Just make sure that when you get back up, you rise as the whole damn fire.”

She credited friend Martine McCutcheon with alerting her to the quote, writing in the caption: “@Martinemccutcheon I saw this the other day on ur feed and love it x.”

Former sports star Redknapp is yet to confirm his reported romance with the daughter of former Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld.

According to the Mail On Sunday, the 44-year-old has been enjoying the company of the mother-of-one in recent months.

Louise and Jamie Redknapp have sons, Charley, 13, and nine-year-old Beau together.

At the former couple's divorce hearing the judge granted decrees for the Redknapps and two other couples at a public hearing which lasted just 25 seconds.

Paperwork showed that the singer had filed for divorce and said the marriage had irretrievably broken down because of her husband’s "unreasonable behaviour".
