Love is in the air! Selena Gomez and The Weeknd plus what made Kendall and P Diddy smile at Met Gala?

Love is in the air, everywhere we look around!

For anyone who may have suspected that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd’s romance was anything other than the real deal, well, they’ve been proved mightily wrong.

Selena and her new beau – whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – made their red carpet debut at the glamorous annual Met Gala bash on Monday night and piled on the PDA for everyone to see.

The singer was dressed in a stunning floaty pale pink frock, and was caught kissing her man as the pair held hands and whispered sweet nothings into each others’ ears.

Seriously guys, the body language had us gripped!

Meanwhile, rumoured couple Kendall Jenner and A$AP Rocky were spotted getting up close and personal together.

The pair seemingly confirmed that they are an item at the star-studded event, and though they were able to keep their romance under wraps from the world’s media on the red carpet, A$AP and Kendall couldn’t hide from the 21-year-old model’s half-sister Kim Kardashian West, who filmed their PDA on Snapchat.

The rapper – whose real name is Rakim Mayers – and Kendall were caught in an embrace by fellow Jenner sister Kylie, who was caught watching them by her big sister Kim, who shared the moment on Snapchat. Confused? Nah.

Fellow rap star P Diddy was literally knocked sideways by the beauty of his girlfriend Cassie as she posed for the paparazzo.

The 47-year-old rapper sprawled himself over the staircase and his jaw dropped as he watched his stunning date smile for the cameras.

However, he took to Twitter to claim that he was, in fact, stopping for a well earned rest.

Sean Combs wrote: “I was getting tired so I laid down on the stairs!!! #MetGala.”

Elsewhere, Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith admitted to press that he couldn’t find a date for the popular ball and decided to chop off his dreadlocks and carry them with him as his plus one along the red carpet. So gross AND WTF?

While Sarah Paulson made us all laugh when she photo-bombed Madonna and fan girl’d over the ‘Like A Virgin’ hitmaker.

Judging by this display, we are already looking forward to next year’s Met Gala and the celebs’ red carpet antics.
