Love Birds: Cockatoos Share a Perch and a Peck as Flock Swarms Suburb

A pair of cockatoos were recorded sharing a perch and a peck in Nowra, New South Wales, on April 27, as a large flock of the birds mobbed a neighborhood.

This footage, captured by Sherif Saraya, was taken as thousands of corellas (a type of white cockatoo native to the area) descended on his street.

According to local media, the birds can be “incredibly destructive” but are a protected species, meaning not much can be done to stop them. Credit: Sherif Saraya via Storyful
