The release date for Love Is Blind UK has been unveiled in a teaser trailer, following the announcement that Emma and Matt Willis will be hosting the series. The Netflix dating show will see the husband and wife assisting a group of singles in forming connections without ever seeing each other.

Scheduled to debut on the streaming service this summer, the first four episodes will drop on August 7, with three more on August 14 and the finale airing a week later on August 21. Communicating through Pods using only their voices, the participants will date for several weeks before selecting one person to wed.

Following the Pod phase, they can interact with each other - and the other couples - for the first time as they cohabit and plan their nuptials. The couples will then discover if their physical attraction matches the strong emotional bond formed in the Pods.

A teaser trailer shows Emma and Matt sharing a packet of crisps on a train, when a woman's voice is heard from the toilet. 'I'm sick,' the unidentified woman declares. 'Sick of these dating apps I've swiped about 100 people since Doncaster!'

'You must have strong fingers,' the conductor jests. From within the cubicle, the woman retorts: 'You have a nice voice. Would you like to....'

'Grow old together!?,' the conductor interjects. It comes as Emma and Matt gushed over their 16th wedding anniversary earlier this week.

Brummie Emma gushed: "Happy anniversary @mattjwillis 16 year since we said I do. Love you forever bab."

Emma kicked off her career on the catwalk before making the switch to television early on - and has remained loyal to presenting, featuring on some of the biggest shows on TV including The Voice and Big Brother. However, Matt, who is eight years Emma's junior, is still best known for his pop star antics as part of pop punk trio Busted, and continues to tour with the band, with performances in Margate and Newmarket scheduled this summer.
