Love Island’s Ellie Brown will not leave the villa after learning of pal Sophie Gradon’s sad death.

Gradon’s death was announced on Thursday with her boyfriend Aaron Armstrong posting an emotional tribute .

Weeks ago, Gradon had tweeted that she was excited to see Ellie appear on the ITV2 show, the same show she appeared on back in 2016.

As reported by multiple publications, an ITV source has confirmed that the Islanders have been told the news “off-camera” while it was confirmed to OK! Online that Ellie will be staying in the villa.

The late Geordie reality star coupled up with Tom Powell and Katie Salmon during her time on the show, before walking out after Powell was dumped.

Her boyfriend, Aaron, broke the sad news on Facebook on Thursday morning, writing: “I will never forget that smile. I love you so so much baby, you're my world forever and always.”

Close pal Holly Hagan also paid tribute on social media, tweeting: “You were only helping me battle the Twitter trolls yesterday. Rest in peace beautiful.”

Northumbria Police issued a statement reading: "At about 8.27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner."
