Who are the Love Island 2022 contestants?
The singles hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year's winning couple Millie Court and Liam Reardon have been announced by ITV.
Eleven contestants have been confirmed so far: Six boys — Dami Hope, Liam Llewellyn, Davide Sanclimenti, Ikenna Ekwonna, Andrew Le Page and Luca Bish - and five girls — Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen, Paige Thorne, Indiyah Pollock, Tasha Ghouri, and Amber Beckford.
With an uneven number of couples available, one boy will be left out in the cold at the start of the series. Expect more names to join the villa as the show progresses.
Where is Love Island filmed?
For the first time in four Love Island summers, the action is set to take place in a brand new villa.
The last four summer series were filmed at Sant Llorenç des Cardassar in Mallorca (the one and only winter series was filmed in South Africa), but the villa sold to a new owner for £3million.
A Love Island crew has been racing to complete the transformation of their new Mallorcan villa which has a more rustic feel but an equally beautiful rural setting.
