Love Island host Caroline Flack has revealed that the official after show – Love Island: Aftersun will return to screens alongside the main series this year.

Love Island is returning to ITV2 on Monday, June 3 for another round of villa-based romances, but that behind-the-scenes look at what's been going on is often as equally as entertaining.

Posting a series of updates on her Instagram Story, Caroline announced Aftersun's inclusion in the ITV2 schedule – set to premiere live on Sunday, June 9 at 10pm.

The show will then broadcast every Sunday evening for the remainder of the main series.

It could've all been so different for Caroline, though, as she recently admitted that she almost had to pull out of early Love Island filming this year because of a "wonky pelvis".

Once again taking to Instagram, she explained: "I woke up this morning with an incredibly bad back. I went to an osteopath really early and they told me that I have a wonky pelvis, which was quite a revelation for a Tuesday!

"I then went to a physio who massaged my bum cheek for an hour which was rather nice and then I had a really lovely masseuse come to my house and massage my back.

"Thank you to everyone who helped me out today," she added. "I thought I wasn't going to be able to go to work tomorrow but with some firm hand action and some bum loving I can. Hurrah."

Love Island returns on June 3, while Aftersun will begin on June 9. Both shows air on ITV2.
