Former Love Island hopeful Kendall Rae Knight called it... Adam Collard is about to be proper muggy to Rosie Williams for newbie Zara McDermott.

Just one week after poor Rosie agreed to give the playboy personal trainer another chance, his head's been well and truly turned by government advisor Zara just one day after her arrival in the villa.

Zara picked Adam for her dessert date last night, which will be shown on Tuesday evening's show (June 19), and we'll see the pair hitting it off over their shared banana split pudding.

Rosie is understandably seething about being so publicly pied.

And in typical Adam fashion, everything he says he finds sexy and attractive in Zara seem to be attributes that he boasts of having himself. What. A. Catch.

"You're a little bit mysterious aren't you?" the personal trainer tells Zara on tonight's episode, continued from their date on Monday's show.

"I find it quite intriguing. Because quite a lot of people said that about me when I first came in."

Lols.

As Adam assures Zara that he wants to get to know her despite his coupling up with Rosie, an upset Rosie tells the others that he's embarrassed her yet again.

"Obviously I took it further with him the other night," an emotional Rosie tells the girls. "It means something to me. If ever I'm doing something with you, it's because I like you.

"For him two days later to potentially go on this date and think, 'Yeah, Rosie's not for me', that's embarrassing again."

Meanwhile, an oblivious Adam sings Zara's praises to Jack after their date, cooing: "From the moment I sat down, that eye contact, the flirtiness, the banter. Mate, she's funny she's as well. She's dry funny, like me. We're so similar."

Again, LOL Adam.

He also tells Jack that Rosie better not be expecting a goodnight kiss in bed – the absolute cad – and before long, Rosie confronts Adam over his apparent coldness towards her.

And they both seem to be wearing matching outfits, awkward!

During their heated exchange, Adam accuses Rosie of having a face "like a smacked arse", and says that his moving on with Zara is partly due to Rosie acting like a child.

"I don't like every girl that comes in here," Adam argues with Rosie. "You asked me if I fancied Megan, no I don't.

"Yeah, I probably do fancy Zara. It didn't really mean anything before you acted like a child. We'll agree to disagree."

After their spat, Rosie is comforted by the girls as she recounts how Adam said they had a potential future together, and how she was girlfriend material after their intimate under-the-covers fumble earlier this week.

"He's said to me things about having a future together," Rosie says. "You can't do that and have your head turned two seconds later because a new face has walked in.

"He told me that he did see me as a girlfriend, which is why he hasn't rushed. I'm not being funny, I don't do things with people unless they mean something.

"I did it because I thought this was something real, I thought we had something."

The very definition of muggy.

Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2, with Love Island: Aftersun airing every Sunday from 10pm, also on ITV2.
