Love Island finalist Camilla Thurlow has revealed she’d love to present hard-hitting documentaries about the war-torn countries she’s visited as part of her career – and her partner Jamie Jewitt is keen to join.

When asked if she’d be interested in fronting her own Ross Kemp-style extreme series, the 28-year-old said: “I would love to do that”.

She also revealed she and Jewitt had discussed the possibility of hosting a TV show while in the villa.

“Very interestingly Jamie actually mentioned that on our second date,” she said, while the Calvin Klein model added: “That’s my dream.”

Thurlow earned a reputation on the show for being one of the most thoughtful and considerate islanders, handling her break-up with Jonny Mitchell and his romance with Tyla Carr diplomatically, and supporting the other girls through difficult moments.

The Scottish lass promised to stay true to her strong beliefs on the outside too, saying: “I would want to use any platform I have to draw attention to various issues that are important to me.”

She also hinted at further philanthropic intentions, adding that she’d be helping out at charities in the coming weeks.

Thurlow, who was speaking at a round-table interview, said: “[I have] a friend who works out in Greece, she runs a charity out there, so I’d join them for a bit.”

Jewitt also confirmed that he was “definitely” hoping to join his partner at a refugee camp.

As well as potential hosting gigs, Thurlow also confessed she’d be up for starring in a reality series with fellow Love Island contestant Gabby Allen, as the pair are planning to move in together in London.

“That would be such a fun idea" she said.

"I love Gab. She was my absolute rock [in the villa]. I just think we’ll be best friends for life now.”

Love Island returns to ITV2 in summer 2018.
